Early Childhood Enrichment Camp
Age: 3 to 5.5
Working with our team of ECE teachers, children will explore their time in the classroom in play, storytime, sharing, and more. Our teachers will help emphasis the importance of turn taking, manners, and help improve each child’s fine and gross motor skills. Daily excursions will also be scheduled so that children can experience the outdoors together with nature walks, playground time, and make trips to the library for reading time! NOTE: Children must be able to attend camp without the accompaniment of parents, express their basic needs in English, and be toilet trained.
Emcee Training Camp
Age: 6 to 15
Is your child interested in hosting a show? In our emcee camp, our students work on all aspects of public speaking, including body language, vocal training, script writing, practical microphone practice. They will receive special attention by our teachers to help improve the unique aspects of their performance. Children will work in teams of a similar age and ability to provide the opportunity to make new friends and learn from each other. At the end of each week, parents will be invited to watch a mock show demonstrating all of the skills the children learned throughout the week. Students at each camp will be eligible to participate as emcees in the upcoming Oakridge Centre Fashion Show.
